STEM projects, collaborative learning, and watching and listening to students actively thinking and learning from one another made for another inspiring week in your classrooms.
Here are just a few of the exciting things we saw in your classrooms last week! Interesting math centers, students building topographical maps and graphs, a print rich environment and lots of visuals that the students can refer to, and many collaborative activities that had the students completely motivated and engaged. Keep it up!
Thank you to one of our new teachers, Bernadette, for sharing the following two documents with us that she is finding success with! One is her SLANT poster with an excellent acronym reminding students how to show that they are actively listening. The other is her system of students showing different numbers of fingers for different requests. To all of our teachers, please continue to share and send me things that are working for you!
